Cotton futures increased, with December contracts rising 134 points to close at 65.54 cents/lb on October 30. The October auction from The Seam saw 699 bales sold at an average price of 63.03 cents/lb, while ICE certified cotton stocks decreased by 4,303 bales to a total of 13,749 bales.
Crude oil futures also saw a rise, up 30 cents to $60.87 per barrel, alongside a US dollar index increase of $0.197 to 99.545.
