Cotton futures are experiencing positive trading on Wednesday, October 25, with contracts increasing by 15 to 40 points. As of midday, Oct 25 Cotton is at 66.97, Dec 25 Cotton is at 68.4, and Mar 26 Cotton is at 69.76, all showing gains.
On Tuesday, The Seam reported sales of 1,093 bales at an average price of 61.43 cents per pound. The Cotlook A Index decreased by 80 points to 78.65 as of July 21. Certified ICE cotton stocks remained at 22,337 bales on July 22, while the USDA’s Adjusted World Price (AWP) increased to 54.72 cents per pound, effective through the following Thursday.
