Snap-on Leads Dividend Increases as Several Companies Announce Payouts
Snap-on recently shared news that its board of directors has increased the quarterly common stock dividend to $2.14 per share, up from the previous $1.86 per share. This reflects an increase of $0.28 or 15.1%. Shareholders will receive this increased dividend on December 10, 2024, if they are on record as of the close of business on November 21, 2024. Notably, Snap-on has consistently paid quarterly cash dividends since 1939, maintaining this trend without interruption. “This 15th consecutive annual dividend increase confirms our steadfast commitment to create long-term value for our shareholders and demonstrates our ongoing belief that we’re well-positioned for a future of abundant promise,” stated Nick Pinchuk, Snap-on’s chairman and CEO.
In other dividend news, Thermo Fisher Scientific announced its Board of Directors has authorized a quarterly cash dividend of $0.39 per common share. This dividend will be paid on January 15, 2025, for shareholders registered by December 13, 2024.
Additionally, AMETEK’s board declared a regular quarterly dividend of $0.28 per share for the fourth quarter ending December 31, 2024. This payment will occur on December 20, 2024, for those on record as of December 6, 2024.
Furthermore, Marriott International’s board announced a dividend of 63 cents per share of common stock. This dividend is set to be paid on December 31, 2024, to shareholders of record as of the close of business on November 21, 2024.
Lastly, Lam Research’s Board of Directors has approved a quarterly dividend of $0.23 per share of common stock. This payment will be made on January 8, 2025, to holders of record on December 11, 2024. It’s important to note that all future dividend payments are subject to review and approval by the Board of Directors.
