Dell Technologies reported first-quarter fiscal 2026 revenues of $12.50 billion in its Client Solutions Group, marking a 5% increase year over year. The company is benefiting from a demand surge related to the Windows 11 PC refresh cycle, driven by enterprise upgrades to AI-capable devices. Additionally, Dell’s ongoing collaborations with partners like NVIDIA are enhancing its AI capabilities and expanding its commercial offerings.

As for competition, Dell faces strong challenges from HP and Apple. HP projects that 40-60% of all PCs will be AI-enabled within three years and is actively launching new AI PCs. Apple continues to gain traction with its updated Mac lineup fueled by M4 chips, further intensifying the competitive landscape.

Year-to-date, DELL’s shares have increased by 1.1%, underperforming the Zacks Computer & Technology sector, which has seen a 1.6% gain. Analysts forecast a second-quarter fiscal 2026 earnings consensus estimate of $2.26 per share, representing a year-over-year growth of 19.58%.
