At its 2026 Investor Day, DexCom (NASDAQ:DXCM) announced plans to enhance its product offerings, expand insurance coverage for continuous glucose monitoring (CGM), and enter international markets. CEO Jake Leach reported that the company served over 3.5 million patients by the end of 2022, a significant increase from 900,000 in 2020, with revenue reaching $4.6 billion and operating margins exceeding 20%.

DexCom recently launched its G7 15-day product in the U.S. and plans to roll out the G7 internationally in late 2023, pending regulatory approval. The G8 platform is projected for submission next year, with a launch anticipated between late 2027 and early 2028. The company also expects Medicare coverage decisions for type 2 diabetes patients not using insulin to come by the end of 2023.

Chief Commercial Officer Jon Coleman noted that the U.S. covered lives for CGM are expected to double from 15 million today to 30 million by 2027, thanks to expanded access initiatives. DexCom aims for over 10% revenue growth annually through 2030 and has authorized a $1 billion share repurchase program to be executed by 2026.
