The company’s revenue dropped 29% in 2024 but rebounded with a 13% increase in 2025, as demand for hydrogen projects resumed. Analysts forecast an 18% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) for revenue from 2025 to 2028, potentially reaching $1.2 billion.
As of now, Plug Power has deployed over 74,000 fuel cell systems globally, with major clients including Amazon and Walmart. The company is enhancing its production of green hydrogen in the U.S. and reducing costs through its “Project Quantum Leap” initiative. Currently, with an enterprise value of $3.7 billion, Plug Power’s valuation stands at five times this year’s sales.
