Hedge Fund Activity Reveals Shifts in Novo-Nordisk Holdings

Recent analysis of 13F filings for the period ending March 31, 2025, shows that Novo-Nordisk AS (Symbol: NVO) was held by eight hedge funds. This clustering of interest warrants a closer examination of the financial implications.

However, it’s crucial to note that 13F filings only disclose long positions; short positions remain undisclosed. Notably, Harvest Fund Management Co. Ltd exited its position in NVO common stock as of March 31, 2025.

Expanding beyond individual funds, we aggregated the total NVO shares held by all funds at the March 31, 2025, reporting period (from a total of 3,913 funds examined). Comparing this to the share count from December 31, 2024, we found that the total holdings increased by 2,193,574 shares, rising from 80,728,443 to 82,922,017.
