UnitedHealth Group Leads Dow Gains as Apple Declines
In early trading on Monday, UnitedHealth Group emerged as the top performer among the Dow Jones Industrial Average components, achieving a gain of 4.0%. Despite this positive movement, UnitedHealth has experienced a significant year-to-date decline, losing approximately 40.0% of its market value.
Conversely, Apple has been the worst performer of the day, trading down 2.6%. This decline contributes to Apple’s year-to-date performance, which shows a drop of about 17.8% overall.
Additionally, Walmart is experiencing a downturn, trading down 2.4%, while Merck shows slight positive movement, trading up 0.5% on the day.
