Nike Leads Dow Gains While Home Depot Struggles on Thursday
In early trading on Thursday, shares of Nike stood out among the Dow Jones Industrial Average, climbing 1.5%. Despite this uptick, Nike has experienced a significant decline this year, losing approximately 19.5% of its value year to date.
Home Depot Experiences Notable Decline
Conversely, Home Depot emerged as the worst-performing component of the Dow on the same day, falling 1.2%. Year to date, its stock has dropped roughly 5.8%, reflecting broader challenges in the home improvement sector.
Other Notable Movers
In addition to Nike and Home Depot, two other Dow components are making notable moves. UnitedHealth Group is trading down 1.2%, while Microsoft is gaining traction with a 1.0% increase today.
