On Monday, Merck was the best-performing component of the Dow Jones Industrial Average, rising 1.5%, although it has lost approximately 19.5% of its value year-to-date. In contrast, McDonald’s performed the worst for the day, declining by 1.6% but still showing a year-to-date gain of 4.3%.
Other notable movements included Travelers Companies, which fell 1.6%, and NVIDIA, which increased by 1.2% during the trading session.
