In early trading on Thursday, Amazon.com shares increased by 1.4%, making it the best-performing component of the Dow Jones Industrial Average for the day. However, year-to-date, Amazon’s value has decreased by 4.2%.
Conversely, Procter & Gamble was the worst-performing Dow component, falling by 1.5% and down 2.5% year-to-date. Additionally, Walmart shares dropped by 1.0% while Nike shares rose by 0.7%.
