In early trading on Friday, shares of Chevron rose 1.3%, making it the top performer among Dow Jones Industrial Average components. Year-to-date, Chevron has seen a gain of 33.9%. Conversely, Salesforce led as the worst performer, trading down 1.8%, with a year-to-date decline of 27.7%.
Additionally, Microsoft shares decreased by 1.3%, while Verizon Communications experienced a slight increase of 0.6% during the same trading session.
