In early trading on Tuesday, shares of Goldman Sachs Group rose by 2.8%, making it the top performer among Dow Jones Industrial Average components. Despite this increase, the company has experienced a year-to-date decline of approximately 7.0%.
Conversely, Johnson & Johnson was the worst performer for the day, trading down 0.8%, although it has gained 16.5% year-to-date. Other notable movements included Verizon Communications, which fell by 0.6%, and American Express, which increased by 2.5%.
