**Chicago, IL – February 2, 2026 –** Zacks.com has identified several major companies likely to report earnings surprises this week, including Meta Platforms (META), Microsoft (MSFT), Tesla (TSLA), Amazon (AMZN), and Alphabet (GOOGL). Microsoft reported a 28.1% earnings growth and 16.7% revenue increase for its December-quarter, but shares fell due to underwhelming growth forecasts for Azure, which showed a 38% increase in constant currency, down from previous quarterly growth rates of 39%.

Meta Platforms reported a more modest Q4 performance, with earnings rising 9.3% and revenues 23.8%, despite improved ad performance through AI utilization. The company plans to increase its capital expenditures to $135 billion in 2026 from $72 billion the year prior. This week, analysts expect Amazon to report a 5.7% increase in earnings and a 12.7% rise in revenues, while Alphabet’s earnings are anticipated to rise 17.5% alongside a 16% increase in revenues.

To date, 33.4% of the S&P 500 has reported Q4 results, showing overall earnings growth of 13.1% and revenue growth of 7.6%. A significant number of companies are scheduled to report this week, including key players like Disney and Uber, amid strong growth trends in many sectors, although some have seen a decline in earnings estimates. The “Mag 7” group is projected to contribute 25.2% of S&P 500 earnings in 2025, up from 23.2% in 2024.
