Encompass Health Corporation (EHC) announced plans to build a 50-bed freestanding inpatient rehabilitation hospital in North Las Vegas, NV, expected to open by 2028. The facility will feature private patient rooms, a modern therapy gym, and specialized areas, including an in-house dialysis unit.
The hospital will provide comprehensive rehabilitation services, including 24/7 nursing care and various therapies, ensuring efficient recovery for patients with serious health conditions. Encompass Health aims to reinforce its presence in Nevada, where it already operates three facilities, amidst rising demand for rehabilitation services across the U.S.
In the first quarter of 2025, Encompass Health reported $1.5 billion in revenue from inpatient rehabilitation services, marking a 10.6% year-over-year increase. Currently, the company has 168 inpatient rehabilitation hospitals across 38 states and Puerto Rico.
