Looking ahead to the current fiscal year, which ends in December, analysts predict a 5.5% decline in EQIX’s Funds From Operations (FFO), estimating it to reach $33.10 on a diluted basis. However, the company has consistently outperformed earnings expectations, beating consensus estimates in all four quarters of the previous year.

Out of the 27 analysts covering EQIX, the consensus rating is a “Strong Buy.” This upbeat outlook comprises 22 “Strong Buy” ratings, one “Moderate Buy,” and four “Holds.” Such an outlook is more optimistic than just a month prior, when only 20 analysts assigned a “Strong Buy.”

On February 14, Irvin Liu from Evercore ISI reaffirmed a “Buy” rating for Equinix with a price target of $1,035, suggesting an upside potential of 12.5%. The average price target of $1,029.08 implies an upside potential of approximately 11.9%, while the highest target of $1,218 suggests a possible rally of up to 32.4%.
