Espey Reports 2% Stock Increase Following Year-over-Year Growth in Q4 Earnings and Revenues

Espey Mfg. & Electronics Corp. (ESP) reported a quarterly earnings increase with EPS rising to $1.15 for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2026, up from $1.05 a year prior. Net sales reached $13.5 million, a notable increase from $9.6 million in the previous year, and net income rose to $3.3 million compared to $2.9 million in the same quarter last year.

For the full fiscal year 2026, Espey’s net sales increased to $46.1 million from $44 million in fiscal 2025. Gross profit also improved to $16.3 million, resulting in a gross margin of 35.3%. Full-year net income is reported at $11.2 million, an increase from $8.1 million, translating to an EPS rise from $3.02 to $3.89.

The company ended fiscal 2026 with a sales backlog of $134.9 million and expects revenues in fiscal 2027 to exceed those of fiscal 2026. Management anticipates challenges due to inflation and ongoing supply chain issues, but does not expect a significant impact on operating income.
