In contrast, the First Trust Health Care AlphaDEX Fund ETF declined by about 1.6%. Underperforming within this ETF were shares of Apellis Pharmaceuticals, which dropped approximately 16.5%, and Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, down about 9.6%.
