In trading on Friday, the Invesco PHLX Semiconductor ETF (SOXQ) rose approximately 2.7%, outperforming other ETFs. Notable gainers within the ETF included Astera Labs (ALAB), which surged by 13.3%, and Credo Technology Group Holding (CRDO), which increased by 11.4%.
Conversely, the Global X Cybersecurity ETF (BUG) fell about 4.9% during the same trading session. Key underperformers in that ETF included Akamai Technologies (AKAM), down 11.2%, and Palo Alto Networks (PANW), which dropped 9%.
