iShares U.S. Pharmaceuticals ETF Leads Market Gains on Tuesday

On Tuesday, the iShares U.S. Pharmaceuticals ETF emerged as a market standout, rising approximately 1.1%. Notable contributors to this performance included Wave Life Sciences, which saw an increase of around 6%, and Pfizer, which climbed by about 3.6%.

Conversely, the VanEck BDC Income ETF lagged behind, showing a decline of roughly 1.8% in afternoon trading. The ETF’s weakest components included Ares Capital, down approximately 3%, and Prospect Capital, which fell by about 2.4% on the day.
