The Global X PureCap MSCI Information Technology ETF (GXPT) experienced notably high trading volume on Friday, with over 3.6 million shares exchanged, contrasting sharply with its three-month average of approximately 288,000 shares. The ETF’s shares fell by 1.9% on the day.
Among its components, Nvidia led in volume with over 120.4 million shares traded, declining by 1.8%, while Intel saw more than 43.6 million shares change hands, marking a 2.3% drop. Conversely, Ciena increased by 2.8%, and Datadog fell by 8.7%.
