The First Trust Innovation Leaders ETF (ILDR) experienced unusually high trading volume on Tuesday, with over 530,000 shares exchanged, significantly surpassing its three-month average of approximately 49,000 shares. As of midday, ILDR shares were down 0.6%.
Component stocks contributing to this volume spike included Nvidia, which rose 2.4% with over 98.2 million shares traded, and Tesla, which fell 1.1% on over 34.9 million shares. Marvell Technology recorded the largest gain among components, rising by 3.5%, while Firefly Aerospace struggled, dropping 8.7%.
