Key Points

Advanced Micro Devices (NASDAQ: AMD) secured a multi-year deal with Meta Platforms (NASDAQ: META), under which Meta will purchase 6 gigawatts of AMD’s GPUs. This agreement comes amid AMD’s efforts to strengthen its market position in the data processing and AI sectors.

The deal also includes issuance of warrants to Meta for up to 160 million shares of AMD, which will vest with each gigawatt of GPU shipments. Collectively with AMD’s earlier contract with OpenAI, these commitments now total 12 gigawatts of GPUs, potentially valued at over $420 billion based on Nvidia’s pricing metrics. AMD generated just under $35 billion in total revenue in 2025.
