SpaceX Plans $1.75 Trillion IPO
SpaceX, led by Elon Musk, is set to launch its initial public offering (IPO) with a projected market capitalization of $1.75 trillion. This valuation exceeds that of Tesla and other major companies such as Walmart and Berkshire Hathaway.
In 2025, SpaceX generated approximately $18.5 billion in revenue, giving it a price-to-sales ratio of nearly 95. A significant driver for its valuation is the Starlink satellite internet service, which reported over 10 million customers across 160 countries. Industry estimations suggest that Starlink could eventually achieve 30 to 50 million subscribers, potentially generating up to $60 billion in annual revenue.
Despite current financial metrics indicating a high valuation, analysts believe that SpaceX’s growth prospects in areas such as satellite internet, launch services, and AI technology could redefine the company’s worth in the coming years, particularly with innovations like the Starship spacecraft aimed at future space commercialization.
