International Business Machines Corporation (IBM) has integrated its QRadar Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR) platforms with Criminal IP, an AI-powered threat intelligence platform. This collaboration, announced recently, enhances QRadar’s capabilities by providing external IP-based threat intelligence, which allows security teams to detect and respond to threats more swiftly.

This integration enables QRadar to label IP addresses as High, Medium, or Low risk based on firewall traffic logs, facilitating quicker investigations by analysts. Additionally, the QRadar SOAR platform will automate threat enrichment during incident responses through pre-built playbooks. The enhancements aim to improve threat management and expand IBM’s customer reach.

IBM shares have increased by 16.4% over the past year, while the industry has seen a growth of 100.3%. IBM currently holds a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold) and trades at a forward price-to-sales ratio of 3.89, which is below the industry average.
