Arista Networks, Inc. (ANET) has launched the 7060XE7 Series, a suite of 1.6-terabit Ethernet platforms tailored for artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure. The new lineup, which supports up to 100 Tbps switching capacity and 1.6 Tbps per port, aims to enhance AI training and inference capabilities. Major cloud providers like Meta, Microsoft, and Oracle are backing this initiative, emphasizing Arista’s strategic movement in the AI networking market.
The 7060XE7 Series features models such as the air-cooled 7060XE7-64PS, liquid-cooled 7060XE7-64PRS-RV3-L, and the 7060XE7-128PE, providing options for high-density deployments and 800G connectivity. Notably, the platform incorporates Linear Pluggable Optics to reduce interconnect power consumption by around 60%, improving operational efficiency.
Over the past year, Arista’s shares have surged by 58.4%, while the industry has seen a decline of 18.5%. The company’s current forward price-to-sales ratio stands at 15.08, significantly higher than the industry average of 3.65. Analysts have raised earnings estimates for 2026 to $3.63 and for 2027 to $4.39, both indicating positive growth expectations for Arista.
