Keysight Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: KEYS) has partnered with Point2 Technology to test next-generation multi-terabit interconnects for AI data centers, amid escalating bandwidth demands. The collaboration focuses on validating Point2’s e-Tube technology to address connectivity challenges in hyperscale AI facilities.
The project utilizes Keysight’s M8050A High-Performance Bit Error Ratio Tester (BERT) and DCA-X Sampling Oscilloscopes to generate and analyze complex 120 GBaud PAM4 signals, enabling ultra-fast data speeds up to 1.6 terabits. Keysight is also researching 3.2T interfaces using its 448 Gbps signal generation tools, enhancing performance and scalability in AI infrastructure.
Additionally, Keysight is working with NVIDIA Corporation (NVDA) to advance hybrid quantum and AI computing solutions. Over the past year, Keysight’s shares increased by 29.7%, slightly trailing the industry’s growth of 35.1%, while forward 12-month earnings trade at 26.53, below the industry average of 30.93.
