**IBM Launches New AI and Cloud Services**
International Business Machines Corporation (IBM) has unveiled two new managed services: Red Hat AI Inference and Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization Service on IBM Cloud. Launched recently, these solutions aim to facilitate AI adoption and enhance the security and efficiency of virtual workloads.

The Red Hat AI Inference service simplifies AI integration for enterprises by managing infrastructure complexity and supporting advanced AI models, including Granite 4.0 and Llama 3.3 70B Instruct. Meanwhile, the Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization Service allows organizations to modernize virtual machine environments with Kubernetes-based infrastructure, streamlining system maintenance and reducing operational burdens.

IBM’s strategic move comes amid growing demand for scalable AI and infrastructure solutions, even as the company’s shares have declined 19.5% over the past year, compared to a 210.5% growth in the industry. Currently, IBM trades at a forward price-to-sales ratio of 2.78, below the industry average of 6, as earnings estimates for 2026 have slightly decreased to $12.40 per share.
