Microsoft Unveils New AI Features for Copilot App

Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) announced new artificial intelligence capabilities for its Copilot app on Friday, aimed at enhancing workplace productivity. The updated app now integrates full functionality from Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, alongside a new feature called Home, which includes an AI-powered tool for executing multi-step tasks.

Stifel analyst Brad Reback upgraded Microsoft’s stock rating from hold to buy, increasing his price forecast from $530 to $575. This new target suggests potential gains of 11% from Friday’s closing price of $516.17. Reback anticipates the new features will help boost Microsoft’s revenue growth to at least a mid-teens rate in the upcoming years.
