Ford Unveils Nostalgic Package for 2025 Bronco and Faces Dakar Rally Setback
There’s some notable news from Ford Motor Co. (F) with the introduction of an exciting new package for the 2025 Bronco SUV, which has been positively received by investors.
Introducing the Free Wheeling Package
As reported by Car and Driver, the newly launched Free Wheeling package for the Bronco pays homage to the iconic models from the 1970s and 1980s. This package features colorful body decals in red, orange, and yellow, resurrecting a classic aesthetic from Ford’s past.
The Free Wheeling package encompasses more than just eye-catching stickers. It includes 17-inch steel wheels, body color door handles, and bold red lettering on the grille. Additionally, upgraded interior upholstery and distinct grab handle accents further enhance the vehicle’s appeal.
Ford’s Strategic Move to Michigan Central Station
In another development, Ford has relocated multiple teams to Michigan Central Station. Teams from the Model e electric vehicle division and the Integrated Services software team are now settled in a new Michigan tower. This transition allows Ford to occupy three floors in an 18-story office building, signaling a commitment to growth and innovation.
Setbacks in the Dakar Rally
On a less positive note, Ford supporters and Dakar Rally enthusiasts faced disappointment. Driver Carlos Sainz was set to participate in Rally Morocco with a Ford Raptor but was unable to start. This setback comes after the Raptor’s strong performance in the Hungarian Baja. Unfortunately, an early data check revealed an undisclosed issue with the vehicle, preventing his participation.
