AMD’s Growth Projections
Advanced Micro Devices (NASDAQ: AMD) has revealed ambitious projections for its data center division during its Financial Analyst Day, expecting a 60% compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) over the next five years. This could position the company to reach a valuation of nearly $1 trillion by 2030, up from its current market cap of approximately $330 billion.
For context, AMD’s data center revenue stood at $4.3 billion, significantly lower than Nvidia’s $51.2 billion, which grew 66% in Q2 FY 2026. AMD’s overall revenue for the past 12 months was $32 billion, and it aims for $155 billion by 2030. Furthermore, AMD’s growth is anticipated to be complemented by advancements in its software capabilities, improving competitiveness against Nvidia.
