On Friday, precious metals shares rose approximately 2.3%, with Gold Royalty leading the group at a 9% increase and New Found Gold close behind at 8.9%. Meanwhile, cigarettes and tobacco shares climbed by about 1.9%, led by Ispire Technology, which surged 11.7%, while British American Tobacco saw a modest 0.8% increase.
