XMax Inc. (XMAX), historically a furniture seller, has shifted into the AI Model-as-a-Service (MaaS) sector, generating $1.1 million in revenue from its new AI offerings in its first month of operation. The company raised approximately $46 million in capital in 2026 to support this transition, focusing on AI APIs, agents, and workflow automation. Despite a net operating loss of $600,000, the furniture segment remains profitable although sales have declined.

Entravision Communications Corp. (EVC) operates in media and advertising technology, recently reporting a significant surge of 230% year-over-year in its ATS (Advertising Technology and Services) revenue, amounting to $182.8 million in Q2. This segment now comprises 80% of the company’s consolidated revenue, bolstered by a major Asian customer contributing 40% of this total. Operating income for ATS rose to $40 million compared to $5.2 million in the same quarter last year. Both companies are noted for their burgeoning AI ventures, making them key players to watch in an evolving industry.
