Nvidia Announces New Rubin Chips in Full Production

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang announced at CES 2026 that the company’s new Rubin chips are now in “full production.” The firm expects to generate $65 billion in revenue for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2026, ending January 25. Currently, Nvidia’s market capitalization stands at approximately $4.5 trillion.

The Rubin platform, which consists of six separate chips, promises to enhance performance for AI inference workloads, potentially reducing costs by up to 90% compared to its Blackwell platform. Major companies like Microsoft, Oracle, Amazon, Alphabet, and CoreWeave are expected to be early adopters when shipping begins in the second half of 2026. Additionally, Nvidia anticipates combined sales from the Rubin and Blackwell platforms could reach around $500 billion in 2026, a significant increase from recent quarterly revenues of $57 billion.
