GlobalFoundries Inc. (GFS) will report its second-quarter 2026 results on August 5, prior to the market opening. The company is projected to generate $1.76 billion in revenues, reflecting a year-over-year increase from the $1.69 billion recorded in the previous year. Adjusted earnings per share (EPS) are estimated at 44 cents, up from 42 cents a year ago.
Key drivers for the expected growth include strong demand in AI infrastructure, communications, and data center markets, alongside successful product launches like the SCALE optical module and the introduction of Quantum Technology Solutions. However, challenges remain due to weakness in the smartphone market and ongoing macroeconomic uncertainties.
GlobalFoundries has consistently beaten earnings estimates, with a surprise rate of 13.97% over the past year. The company also recently acquired Synopsys’ Processor IP Solutions business, which is expected to enhance capabilities in automotive and industrial IoT.
