Berkshire Hathaway’s Dividend from Coca-Cola
Berkshire Hathaway is set to receive $848 million in dividends from Coca-Cola in 2026, marking a significant increase from $704 million in 2022. This substantial return comes as Coca-Cola’s stock recently hit a record high following strong second-quarter earnings released on July 28, reporting a 7% revenue increase year-over-year to $13.4 billion and a 16% rise in earnings per share to $1.03.
The positive earnings were partially fueled by a successful marketing campaign during the World Cup, where Coca-Cola’s Powerade saw an 8% volume increase, and trademark Coca-Cola recorded a 5% rise. Warren Buffett’s historical commitment to Coca-Cola continues under new CEO Greg Abel, who has expressed a focus on maintaining high-quality investments as he sells off smaller holdings.
