The crack of dawn revealed a murky start for U.S. stock futures, with the Dow showing a modest decline of around 0.1% on this dreary, midweek morning.

Shares of the once-proud Harrow, Inc. HROW took a gut punch in today’s pre-market rumble, stumbling over weaker-than-predicted results for the fourth quarter.

Harrow Health disclosed an adjusted loss of 20 cents per share, missing the mark set by market sages who had foreseen a milder loss of 4 cents per share. To add insult to injury, the company’s quarterly sales clocked in at $36.35 million, a disheartening dip below the expected $37.86 million as reported by Benzinga Pro.

As anticipated, Harrow shares nosedived a staggering 14.6% to a feeble $9.09 during pre-market trading, painting a bleak picture for investors.

Comrades-in-arms Aquestive Therapeutics, NuScale Power Corporation, MaxCyte, TeraWulf Inc., MicroStrategy Incorporated, Nasdaq, Inc., and Amcor plc were not spared from the market’s merciless wrath, witnessing their stock values spiral downwards in today’s pre-market bloodbath.

  • Aquestive Therapeutics, Inc. AQST endured a significant 14.8% drop to a meager $4.55 following an underwritten public offering of $75 million.
  • NuScale Power Corporation SMR suffered a 6.8% plummet to $6.13 after Wells Fargo soured its outlook on the company, eliciting a 35% tumble the previous day.
  • MaxCyte, Inc. MXCT saw a 5.8% descent to $4.20 after a fleeting 7% uptick. Last week, MaxCyte reported rosy fourth-quarter figures but it seems the market’s fickle disposition caught up with it.
  • TeraWulf Inc. WULF witnessed a 4.7% dip to a paltry $1.64 following subpar fourth-quarter revelations, contributing to the gloomy atmosphere in pre-market trading.
  • MicroStrategy Incorporated MSTR grappled with a 3.9% slide to $1,362.64 in pre-market movements post a sizeable 5% drop the day prior, marking the closure of a $603.75 million offering of convertible senior notes due 2031.
  • Nasdaq, Inc. NDAQ faced a 3.1% drop to $60.52 in pre-market trading as a secondary offering of over 26 million common shares by Borse Dubai came to light.
  • Amcor plc AMCR grappled with a 3% dip to $9.10 in pre-market trading, spurred by the announcement of a CEO transition and the reassurance of its fiscal journey for 2024.
