Among the underlying components of the Russell 3000 index, Eli Lilly (LLY) experienced substantial options trading today, with a total of 27,989 contracts exchanged, equating to approximately 2.8 million underlying shares. This figure represents about 75.2% of LLY’s average daily trading volume of 3.7 million shares over the past month. Notably, 1,646 contracts for the $1100 strike call option expiring December 26, 2025, accounted for approximately 164,600 underlying shares.

Oracle Corp (ORCL) also saw significant activity, with options trading volume reaching 268,142 contracts, corresponding to approximately 26.8 million underlying shares, or 73.3% of its average daily volume of 36.6 million shares.
