Among the underlying components of the Russell 3000 index, notable options trading activity was observed on October 5, 2023. APi Group Corp (Symbol: APG) experienced significant volume with 35,202 contracts traded, equating to approximately 3.5 million underlying shares, representing 114% of its average daily trading volume of 3.1 million shares. The $47 strike call option expiring October 16, 2026, saw 18,513 contracts traded, accounting for about 1.9 million underlying shares.

Circle Internet Group Inc Class A (Symbol: CRCL) also reported strong options activity, reaching 179,848 contracts traded—approximately 18 million underlying shares, or 111.4% of its average daily volume of 16.1 million shares. The $75 strike call option expiring May 15, 2026, accounted for 6,111 contracts, representing about 611,100 underlying shares.
