Highlights from Tuesday’s Options Trading: TSLA, CVLT, AXSM

Significant options trading activity has been reported today for major companies listed in the Russell 3000 index, particularly Tesla Inc (TSLA). As of today, a total of 613,075 contracts have been traded, corresponding to approximately 61.3 million underlying shares, which is 98% of TSLA’s average daily trading volume of 62.6 million shares over the past month. Notably, the $440 strike call option expiring on January 30, 2026, has seen 26,163 contracts traded, representing about 2.6 million shares.

CommVault Systems Inc (CVLT) is also experiencing high options trading, with 5,370 contracts exchanged, equal to approximately 537,000 underlying shares—92.7% of its average daily volume of 579,565 shares. The $90 strike call option set to expire on February 20, 2026, recorded 1,031 contracts today, translating to roughly 103,100 underlying shares.

Additionally, Axsome Therapeutics Inc (AXSM) has reported an options trading volume of 7,271 contracts, representing approximately 727,100 underlying shares or 81.4% of its monthly average of 893,045 shares. The $280 strike call option expiring on April 17, 2026, has seen significant activity with 5,527 contracts traded, equating to about 552,700 underlying shares.
