Highlights of Monday’s Noteworthy Options Trading: SNOW, NVAX, DDOG

Among the components of the Russell 3000 index, significant options trading volume was reported for several companies on the same day. Snowflake Inc (SNOW) saw 26,901 contracts traded, equivalent to approximately 2.7 million underlying shares, which is about 58% of its average daily trading volume of 4.6 million shares. High activity was noted for the $150 strike call option expiring April 10, 2026, with 4,316 contracts traded.

Novavax, Inc. (NVAX) also experienced notable options trading, with 22,383 contracts or about 2.2 million underlying shares traded, representing 53.6% of its average daily trading volume of 4.2 million shares. The $8.50 strike call option expiring April 10, 2026, had 14,183 contracts traded.

Additionally, Datadog Inc (DDOG) reported 22,499 contracts traded, corresponding to approximately 2.2 million underlying shares and 52.7% of its daily average of 4.3 million shares. The $75 strike put option due May 15, 2026, accounted for the majority with 9,240 contracts traded.
