The USDA’s FOB plant pork cutout report indicated an increase of $1.68, bringing prices to $114.85 per cwt. The estimated federally inspected hog slaughter for Thursday was 487,000 head, totaling 1.947 million for the week, which is 8,342 head higher than the same week last year.
