**SpaceX Set for Nasdaq-100 Inclusion**

Nasdaq has announced that SpaceX (SPCX) will join the Nasdaq-100 Index (NDX) starting Tuesday, July 7, 2026. This follows a pattern observed in the past 42 NDX additions since early 2022, where only 12 out of 35 stocks experienced a price increase on their first day, resulting in an average decline of 1.13%. Moreover, over the first five days after inclusion, stocks typically averaged a loss of 3.41%, with only 11 of the same stocks showing gains.

Given SpaceX’s high profile and intense investor interest, the anticipated trading dynamics surrounding its addition could differ from historical trends. Traders should be cautious, as previous NDX inclusions have often led to sell-offs shortly after the event, raising concerns about the potential for a post-inclusion price pullback for SPCX.
