Institut Curie Chooses RayStation for Enhanced Proton Therapy Planning
STOCKHOLM, Nov. 7, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — RaySearch Laboratories AB (publ) has announced that the Institut Curie has ordered the RayStation®* treatment planning system for its three radiotherapy centers in Paris, Orsay, and Saint-Cloud, France. The order was made under the Unicancer 2019 Framework agreement as part of the French hospital network Unicancer.
RayStation will primarily support the Institut Curie Proton Therapy Center in Orsay, one of the three proton centers located in France. All of these centers are now equipped with RayStation technology.
This acquisition allows Institut Curie to access advanced features of RayStation, including LET optimization, adaptive planning, and AI autocontouring for treatment planning with both protons and photons.
Régis Ferrand, Head of Physics at Institut Curie, noted the importance of RayStation’s advanced tools in enhancing the quality of proton treatments.

The total value of this order is approximately 1.7 MEUR, excluding the service agreement, with most of the revenue already recognized in the third quarter of 2024.
