Intel Corporation (INTC) has partnered with Acronis to enhance AI-driven cyber threat detection on endpoint devices without harming performance. The collaboration, announced recently, utilizes Intel’s OpenVINO toolkit to offload AI tasks to Intel’s NPU, aiming to reduce CPU load and increase battery life.
This integrated solution combines Intel’s AI platform with Acronis’ cyber protection capabilities, enabling managed service providers to offer enterprise-level security with simplified implementation.
Intel shares have seen a 23% increase over the past year, in contrast to the industry average growth of 49.1%. The company’s current price/sales ratio is 2.03, significantly lower than the industry’s 15.91. Earnings estimates for Intel have decreased by 46.4% for 2025 to 15 cents per share.
