Intuitive Surgical (ISRG) reported a 21% increase in revenue for 2025, reaching $10.1 billion, driven by a 19% rise in robotic-assisted surgical procedures. The company treated over 3.1 million patients and has performed over 20 million procedures to date. This momentum is attributed to the acceleration of da Vinci system adoption and significant growth in procedures across platforms like Ion, which saw a 51% increase year over year.
International da Vinci procedures rose by 23%, now making up 35% of total global procedures. The recently launched da Vinci 5 platform is enhancing hospital utilization rates, with strong interest from medical institutions looking to upgrade existing systems. ISRG’s earnings estimates for 2026 have increased by 7.4% to $10.06 per share, signaling positive investor sentiment despite challenges such as supply chain issues and competition from other robotic platforms.
