Nvidia’s Growth Projections

Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) has seen its stock price increase over 1,000% since 2023 and 250% since 2024. Analyst Phil Panaro from the Boston Consulting Group projects that the stock could reach $800 per share by 2030, indicating a potential 370% increase from current levels.

Data Center Revenue and Market Share

Nvidia generated $115 billion in data center revenue during fiscal 2025, capturing nearly 30% of the data center capital expenditures, which totaled $400 billion in 2024 and are expected to reach $1 trillion by 2028. Projections suggest that maintaining this market share could lead to $300 billion in revenue by 2028.

Challenges to Price Target

For Nvidia to reach Panaro’s $800 target by 2030, it would require a 350% growth. Current projections show that even with a 30% market share and an increased data center capex of $1.6 trillion by 2030, revenue would only be around $473 billion, representing a 217% increase, which falls short of this target.
