Costco Reports Strong Q2 Fiscal 2026 Results

Costco Wholesale (NASDAQ: COST) reported a 9% year-over-year revenue increase, reaching $68.31 billion for its second quarter ending February 15, 2026. Adjusted earnings per share rose 14% to $4.58, while same-store sales increased 6.7% after adjusting for gasoline prices and currency fluctuations.

Digital sales experienced significant growth, with a 22.6% increase, driven by a 32% rise in traffic and a 15% boost in average order value. Membership revenue climbed 13.6% to $1.36 billion, with paid memberships increasing by 4.8% to 82.1 million households.

The company is on track to open a total of 28 new warehouses in fiscal 2026, further expanding its global presence to 924 locations.
