Microsoft Stock Update
Microsoft’s stock (NASDAQ: MSFT) rebounded approximately 46% from a June low of $352.83, rising to around $516 following a 3% gain on a recent Friday. This recovery follows a 35% decline from its record close of $542.07 on October 28, 2025, to late June 2026.
In its fiscal fourth quarter ended June 30, Azure revenue grew 43%, exceeding previous expectations of 39-40% growth. Microsoft CFO Amy Hood announced a capital expenditure forecast of around $175 billion for calendar 2026, down from an earlier estimate of $190 billion due to an accounting change, but emphasized that the underlying spending plan remains unchanged.
Operating cash flow for the quarter reached $55.4 billion, while free cash flow dipped 23% to $19.6 billion. Analysts suggest that Microsoft stock is now fairly priced, given the recent performance and spending trajectory, and are closely watching for Azure’s growth in the upcoming quarter.
