SpaceX Earnings Call Scheduled

Space Exploration Technologies (NASDAQ: SPCX) will release its second-quarter earnings on August 4, coinciding with its first earnings call as a public company. This comes at a critical time, with shares down 40% from a high of $225.64 since its June IPO. As of July 21, SpaceX shares closed at $135.38.

Starlink Growth and Future Plans

As of March 31, SpaceX has launched over 80% of the world’s mass into orbit, primarily through its Starlink network, which includes 9,600 satellites and 10.3 million subscribers. The company plans to deploy its next-generation Starlink V3 satellites beginning in the second half of 2026. These will offer a 10-fold improvement in downlink and a 22-fold increase in uplink capacity compared to V2 satellites.

Investor Anticipation Ahead of Major Events

The earnings call on August 4 is crucial as it precedes a significant share unlocking on August 6, enabling early investors to sell their shares publicly. Investors and analysts will closely watch for insights on potential mergers with Tesla, future product launches, and SpaceX’s ambitious AI satellite plans.
